By registering for, accessing, or using Akụkọ (referred to as the "Service"), a software platform owned and operated by Xeux Labs ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service or via email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.

2. User Accounts & Security

To access features of Akụkọ, you must create an account. By using Google OAuth to sign in:

• You agree that the Google account details you use are accurate, current, and belong to you.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your session credentials and all activities occurring under your account.
• You must immediately notify us of any suspected breach of security or unauthorized access of your account.
• The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). By signing up, you represent that you meet these age limits.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Akụkọ offers a Free subscription tier and a paid premium tier ("Pro").

4. Permitted Use & Conduct

You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates local, state, national, or international law. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Attempting to disrupt or compromise the integrity, safety, or performance of the servers and databases.
• Scraping, copying, or mirroring any substantial portions of the Service using automated web scripts.
• Abusing briefing credits or attempting to bypass restrictions and usage limits established on your current tier.
• Creating multiple accounts to exploit free allowances or evade suspension.

5. Intellectual Property

The software, design, logos, brand elements, and synthesis algorithms are the exclusive property of Xeux Labs and its licensors.

Regarding generated briefings: Akụkọ grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to read, share, and utilize your daily synthesized digests for private or personal business use. The original articles indexed and summarized remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers and copyright owners.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, XEUX LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

8. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your account and block access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and Xeux Labs will erase your personal preferences and records in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction in which Xeux Labs operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
